Subject: fresno riding figs

hey,
hows it going?
just some info on the figs, there is a select few of us that have been riding out there for many years, and we made the tracks you see out there now.i don't know how you came accross it ?maybee you know someone in our group.it is a good place to teach kids how to ride we have tought four of are own.i don't think it is a good idea to advertise this area.
it will get shut down if it gets out of hand.we have had the sherriff dept. come out before and informed us to keep it melow.withen the past year the property parcels have been sold.we talkled to the owner of one parcel wich has one of are kids tracks on it.he gave us the permission to ride there.
it is a great place for the kids.we should try to keep it this way.
  thanks for your time

Description

134 acres of fig trees, and some of the most suicidal squirrels and rabbits you'll ever meet.  :)

This place is just huge - there are many, many acres of open areas without trees, but this entire area is primarily fig trees.  There are established tracks out here and it's just around the corner from a Sheriff's substation, so I don't think there should be any problems riding here, as long as nobody does anything stupid out here.

The place is very flat and there's not much in the way of jumps, but it is a great spot for beginners and kids who are just learning.  It's also a nice place if you just want to drop it into 5th (or 6th) and lay on the throttle to enjoy the beautiful moto-exhaust.  I love the smell of two-stroke in the morning.  ;-)

Cautions: There is an Irrigation canal that runs along the westside of where you ride. If you have younger children, keep an eye on them. Just ask T.J., his son Nicholas rode into it and we had to pull the totally submerge motorcycle out of the water.
