Fresno
Winton Park / Piedra

Update 6/01/02
Well another cocksucker has managed to close down
another useless slab of land that provided a lot of families pleasure so that he
can just "own" it, even though it will probably sit there dormant for decades.
Hats off to the dickhole who's responsible for this! Hey dickhole, good
luck packing all this land in your coffin with your cash when you DIE - make
sure to hoard as much as you can!
I've also heard that some government agency may
also be responsible for this. Regardless of who it is, this is just
disgusting to see that anyone would actually fence off such a worthless pile of
shit land that would otherwise be enjoyed by many families. Whoever is
responsible for shutting this place down, you're a motherfucker...and you know
it.
But hey, if you want to ride it anyway, more power to you. I'm
leaving this map up since someone with a 4x4 will probably rip the fence down
anyway.

Thanks for getting back. I'm glad to see your sight is still here. I thought,
I had made a mistake by not printing everything that was available on your sight
while I had access to it. Anyhow the "Bad News" is that My family and I
went to Piedra 2 weeks ago and a Sheriff notified us that the land had been sold
to a Man up in Hollister. He told us we had to leave because the man no longer
wanted people riding there. There were about 3 other families there who had to
leave too.
This was one of the places we went to more than any other place. We're so
bummed. So keep up the good work, we now need another good semi-close place to
tear up the dirt. Let us know if you hear anything else about this "Change of
Ownership" You did know that it was owned by the Bureau of Land Management.
Didn't ya? Well it's gone now. I don't know how exactly there going to keep people
out, without posting that it's private property. At that time there were no
signs, but I don't know about now. Thanks.
About 45 minutes out of Fresno, heading East on Belmont, just
outside of Pine Flat Dam, you'll find this place. Has several 25' jumps in
varying angles. This place appears to be an abandoned rock quarry, so much
of the area is rocky and there's lots of red soil. It's a nice place to
practice and there's always lots of kids.
